  • The office parties will be a bit more stressful than regular deliveries to households: sometimes you’ll be doing deliveries during rush hour, driving around the block a few times to find parking, have less flexibility with the delivery time, etc. My best advice is to have the equipment ready either the day before or a few hours before, always leave a bit early for the delivery, have music or podcast ready to listen to during your drive and, while you are doing the installation, go a bit slower than usual. By working more slowly you may take an extra 5 minutes to install the system but you’ll have less stress and be less likely to do something incorrect.
  • I’ll have new training videos up in the next few days that should clear up any confusion you may have about the equipment and installation procedure.
  • If you forget what to bring for an installation, always refer to the tag on the black bag, it will tell you exactly what each package includes, and the delivery sheet will tell you if there are any extras to bring
  • When planning the delivery with the client, always give yourself a window. Even if you know you’ll be there around 10am, tell the client to expect you between 10am and 11am, you and the client will have less stress if you’re a bit late.
  • If you have multiple deliveries on the same day they must all be done on the same trip when possible
  • Always call or text the client to confirm the delivery time, if you leave a voicemail or text and don’t get an answer, follow-up to make sure they received the message. This is the main reason why there is that extra $10 for each delivery, I used to have to coordinate between clients and drivers and that was not ideal.

  • On our website you can only book a machine two days from the current date, however we’ll sometimes get calls from clients who want a machine delivered the same day or the next day. In those cases we’ll always check with you to see if you’re able and want to do the delivery. If you can’t that’s perfectly fine, if you can we’ll send you all the info as soon as we can.
  • If you haven’t done so yet can you please confirm that you’ve watched all the training videos by Dec 1st. This way we’ll all be set for the Xmas rush.
  • I’ve uploaded a new video that shows how to use the Google Sheet to schedule your clients, please let me know if you have any questions: https://youtu.be/f1-7vu6jHlQ
  • As well here is the video that clients get when they rent a machine: https://youtu.be/uWFE6RtAQEA. It shows them how to use the tablet and speaker so when you do the install they should already have an idea of how to use the equipment.
  • Everyone has been submitting their pay hours very quickly so I’ll make a new pay schedule that will get your pay faster to you, I’ll try to make the changes in the next couple weeks.
  • Just a heads up that you should never leave anything at the clients house other than the equipment they rented. So take back any extra cables and bags, the trolley, the storage bin, etc.
  • In case you haven’t written them down yet here are Hector (514-560-9484) and my (514-432-1230) phone numbers
  • Sometimes a client will already have speakers and they’ll want to use their speakers instead of ours. In that case you’ll take the 1/4″ speaker cable you would have plugged into our speaker and either plug it into their mixer or into their speaker. Most of the time if the client has speakers it’s because they’re in a venue and there’s a good chance a sound guy will be on site to take over from you.
